The 2025 Business Kick-Off: a gathering of openness and opportunities

Since 2022, we have participated each year in the Business Kick-Off organized by FER Geneva. In 2025, the event brought together 3,236 members. This figure confirms the importance of this gathering for Geneva’s economy.

Strong messages for the economy

The speeches made a lasting impression. Beat Jans, Federal Councillor in charge of the Federal Department of Justice and Police (FDJP), reaffirmed his support for the economy. Delphine Bachmann, State Councillor in charge of the Department of Economy and Employment (DEE), emphasized the confidence necessary to meet challenges. The presentations reinforced the idea that Geneva and Switzerland possess solid assets for the future.

Openness as a driver of prosperity

The president of FER Geneva, Ivan Slatkine, placed this year’s kick-off under the theme of openness. This must be based on stable benchmarks, solid partnerships, and clear political will. Arnaud Burgin, Director General of FER Geneva, expressed resolutely positive views.
